Course overview

Good bookkeeping is a habit before it is a skill. This programme builds both: the mechanics of recording transactions accurately, and the routines — filing, coding, reconciling, reviewing — that keep a set of books reliable month after month. Learners work through a full trading month on paper and then in a computerised system, so they understand what the software is doing rather than simply operating it.

Who this course is for

  • Bookkeepers and accounts clerks
  • Administrators with responsibility for the books
  • Business owners keeping their own records
  • Anyone preparing to move into accounting

Learning objectives

By the end of the programme learners will be able to:

  • Record transactions accurately from source documents
  • Maintain sales, purchase and nominal ledgers
  • Reconcile bank, supplier and customer accounts
  • Control petty cash and expense claims
  • Produce an accurate trial balance at month end

How pricing works

  2. An adviser contacts you

By WhatsApp, phone or email, whichever you prefer, within one working day.

  3. You receive a written quotation
