Course overview

Corporate taxation has moved rapidly up the agenda for Gulf finance teams. This programme explains how a corporate tax computation is built from the accounting profit, what is added back and what is deducted, and how losses, groups and related-party transactions are treated. It also covers the practical compliance calendar — registration, filing, payment and record keeping — and the documentation an authority expects to see.

  • Accountants preparing or reviewing corporate tax computations
  • Financial controllers responsible for tax compliance
  • Business owners in newly taxable jurisdictions
  • Finance staff supporting a tax adviser

  • Reconcile accounting profit to taxable profit
  • Identify disallowable expenditure and available deductions

  • Build and operate a corporate tax compliance calendar
